Yalla Toys Partners with Doha Academy to Honor 12 Extraordinary Teachers
- Event featured awards across 3 categories: primary, secondary boys, and secondary girls
- 4 teachers received top honors based on votes from students, colleagues and parents
- Principal Cooper and Yalla Toys’ mascot Yoko presented awards and celebrated honorees
On October 3rd, 2024, Yalla Toys proudly partnered with Doha Academy to celebrate Teachers’ Day. This special event aimed to recognize the invaluable contributions of educators in shaping future generations.
12 Unsung Heroes Awarded for Their Passion & Dedication
The teachers honored at the event were chosen across three categories:
- Primary Teachers: 4 awards
- Secondary Boys Teachers: 4 awards
- Secondary Girls Teachers: 4 awards
Winners were selected based on votes from students, fellow teachers, and parents. The top 4 teachers with the most votes in each category were recognized on stage and presented with awards by Principal Cooper and Yalla Toys representatives.
Yalla Toys’ Beloved Mascot Yoko Entertains & Inspires
To add to the festive atmosphere, Yalla Toys’ popular mascot Yoko made an appearance. Yoko entertained students and even participated in presenting awards, making it a day filled with joy and inspiration.
Driving Home the Message Students Shape Teachers
In his address, Principal Cooper emphasized that students play a pivotal role in shaping teachers. He noted that students come first, and teachers follow – highlighting that the event also celebrates the critical role students have in educating educators.
